Jason Gilder, Ph.D. Director of Analytics & Informatics
Jason Gilder, Ph.D., is the Director of Analytics and Informatics. Jason manages the standardization, normalization, and quality of the data in the Explorys platform. He also leads the team in performing research and development, developing analytic reports, and developing new functionality for our platform and applications. Jason and his team also provide customer support and consultation, including co-authoring research studies and grant proposals.
Jason helped start Forensic Bioinformatics in 2002, where he developed automated software tools to process the forensic DNA data in approximately 1,000 criminal cases. He developed new standards for forensic DNA analysis, published in the field, and provided expert witness testimony.
Jason has a B.S. in Computer Engineering, an M.S. in Computer Science (with a focus in Bioinformatics), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (with a focus in Bioinformatics) from Wright State University in Dayton, OH.
